The founder wanted to create a platform where users could easily send gifts to their loved ones anytime and anywhere. However, the platform needed to operate differently from traditional gifting services by allowing users to create wish lists instead of directly providing gifts.
The challenge was to design a solution that enabled users to share these wishlists, receive funds in their digital wallets, and have the versatility to act as both senders and receivers.
Additionally, the platform required a feature for charitable gifting, allowing organizations to create charitable wishlists and receive donations seamlessly.
The Solution
We developed a comprehensive mobile app and website, complemented by a robust management dashboard, to address GetGFTD’s unique needs. Our solution included the following components:
- User-Friendly Onboarding and Wallet Setup: The platform allows users to sign up and onboard through Pay2Peer – Powered by Stripe, creating a digital wallet to receive funds for their gifts. This onboarding process with online payment integration leads to a smooth and secure user experience.
- Wishlist Creation and Sharing: Both senders and receivers can create and share wishlists, making the gifting process personalized and flexible. Users can include a variety of experiences, such as cooking lessons or paragliding excursions, on their wishlists, allowing for a wide range of gift options.
