Two Connected Care Platforms
Healthcare / ComplianceEnorness built two connected NDIS platforms in parallel, streamlining care management, compliance, rostering, billing, claims, and AI-powered audits.
Two Connected Platforms for NDIS Care Providers, Built on Parallel Twelve-Week Timelines
Executive Summary
CareConnect needed two connected systems: an NDIS Care Management Platform to run day-to-day service delivery, rostering, participant records, billing, and claims, and a Compliance Portal to keep NDIS and aged-care audit obligations under control, backed by an embedded AI assistant.
Enorness scoped and built both platforms in parallel rather than sequencing them. The two projects started six days apart and each ran on a twelve-week delivery timeline, so the operations layer and the compliance layer were designed against the same understanding of the provider's structure from day one.
The Operational Bottleneck
NDIS and aged-care providers typically run on fragmented tooling: rostering in one system, compliance documentation in another, claims submitted manually against the NDIS price guide, staff credentials tracked in spreadsheets, and no shared view for families or plan managers. When an audit comes, none of it lives in one place.
CareConnect needed two problems solved at once, not one after the other: the operational side, who is rostered where, what has been billed, whose credentials are current, and the compliance side, whether the organization is audit-ready today and whether staff can get a compliance answer without waiting on a person.
The Automated Solution
Two systems, one architecture discipline
Rather than building the operations platform first and bolting compliance on afterward, Enorness scoped both systems together. Shared assumptions about tenants, roles, and data structure meant neither platform had to be reworked to accommodate the other later.
The operations engine
A multi-tenant control center with role and permission management sits underneath participant records (NDIS plan details, goals, risk assessments), staff and carer profiles with credential expiry alerts, and rostering with conflict checking, drag-and-drop editing, and reusable weekly templates. Clock-in and clock-out run through GPS-verified time and attendance with offline sync, feeding directly into billing against the NDIS price guide, PRODA-compatible claim exports, and payroll exports to standard accounting platforms. A family and plan manager portal gives read-only visibility into schedules, invoices, and care notes.
Extending into specialized care models
Three additional modules extended the platform beyond general rostering and billing: Supported Independent Living, covering house and tenancy management and SIL-specific funding claims; Specialist Disability Accommodation, covering property registers, vacancy management, and compliance logs; and Behaviour Support, covering behaviour support plan registers, restrictive practice logging, and progress monitoring against plan goals.
The compliance layer
The Compliance Portal centralizes policy documentation, staff onboarding and training, and a drag-and-drop form builder with e-signature workflows, all logged in a full audit trail. NADO, an AI assistant embedded across the portal, answers compliance questions in plain English, guides staff through training and form creation, and automates administrative work that would otherwise sit with a compliance officer.
The Measured Outcome
The scope delivered on each timeline is the evidence. Both platforms were substantial, production-scale systems, not add-ons to an existing product, and both were live inside the same twelve-week window.
Platform | Timeline | What it covered |
NDIS Care Management Platform | 12 weeks | 14 modules across web and mobile: operations, rostering, billing, claims, family portal, SIL, SDA, Behaviour Support |
Compliance Portal | 12 weeks | 8 modules including an embedded AI compliance assistant |
Delivery overlap | 6 days apart | Two production-scale systems scoped and built in parallel, not sequenced |
Usage and adoption metrics were not part of this engagement's scope, so this case study reports what was built and delivered rather than a performance number collected after launch. What can be said with certainty: CareConnect went from disconnected, manual processes across rostering, billing, and compliance to two purpose-built systems designed to work from the same data foundation.
Ideal For
NDIS providers, aged-care operators, and disability service organizations that need service delivery operations and compliance or audit readiness in one connected system, rather than separate tools for rostering, billing, and audits that were never designed to talk to each other.
Integrations
NDIS Price Guide and PRODA-compatible claim exports, accounting platform exports for payroll and invoicing, GPS-based time and attendance with offline sync, and email and SMS notification channels for shift, compliance, and billing alerts.
Why Enorness
CareConnect needed more than a rostering app or a document repository. It needed operations and compliance built as one connected system by a team that could hold both in mind at once. That is the difference between an AI-native digital product partner and a vendor who ships one module and calls the engagement finished.
